Looking to change my exhaust for the racefit growler black edition and wondered if anyone else had one and what they thought of it? Looking to sell my akrapovic and wondered what the going rate is for these at the mo?

Dave V has one - its LOUD!! blew 111db at the ring, the locals were complaining ha ha... sounds amazing, looks the best pipe on the blade IMO and a class bit of kit, it's so light its unreal. didnt need remapping and runs sweet as a nut. pulses a bit when cold but still smokes my R1 on stock cans for fuel consumption. But be warned - ITS LOUD!
Got 1 on mine n its bloody looks lovely but yeah very VERY loud, have to wheel bike down the cul de sac before starting her n letting her warm up

All the vids ive seen dont do this can any justice, on start up / warm up the exhaust note pulses u til she hits 75 degrees and then stays constant at 1200 rom, but when she is pulsing she sounds like an angry lion, letting you know dont mess with me or ill eat ya!! And my neighbours r serious toss pots that i cant stand, sponging off the state with all their " health issues " n i wud love to wake them up, trouble os id wake up thnice neighbours to, isnt that always the case, the arseholes gerring away with stuff cus we r too nice to give them piece of their crap that we have to take everyday!! Ggrrrrr And when ur on the move ( tried couple times now witout earplugs ) she aint half noisy, bit like a race bike u see in superstock / bsb, i have ringing in me ears for 10 mins after, so always wear plugs now ndeven carry a spare pair under seat cowl just incase i lose the ones i have, otherwise gerring completely deaf before 50 is on the cards, but oh wot fun in doing so
And ive passed cop cars, had cops sit behind me for bit, no trouble, even though the black edition dont come with a baffle, so def noisy, obviously these r times when ive been riding like im doing me test again
Yeah I saw they are going! And think I will haggle a price with them there. Dave V or just_me_and_my_bike do you mind me asking if you brought direct from racefit and how much?
Direct from Jon (racefit) at the London excel show, very good price mate. It was a "one off" show deal. Don't think they normally do any discounts tbh.
Got mine off the racefit website, took a few days for it to come as they r all individually hand made, the welding is second to none and as good as any pthink yoshi or akro do. Price was £540 with delivery and fitted for free by the honda dealer Im very pleased with it, esp the huge weight difference n the build quality and esp the noise!!
