Hi all, Here is a link to my bike which is up for sale to make way for a new arrival. It is a classified ad on eBay. 2012 HONDA CBR1000RR C-ABS HRC | eBay Any questions please feel free to ask. Sam
Bloody nice bike mate. Sorry to see you are defecting to Ducati, hope you bought a job lot of Loctite, if my Duc was anything to go by, ur gonna need it.
Cheers mate, she sure is a lovely example, an someone will get a really nice bike for a good price there. I've been reading up on the horror stories of bolts working loose, including the kickstand bolt... Will be keeping a lookout for it but its under warranty so I'm not too bothered by a few little niggles like that. No bike is perfect: even my blade had a few minor things sorted under warranty, but that's what it's there for Sam
Yup, here you go Sinewave - on Amazon: 2 H7 6000K Xenon Halogen Headlight Head Light Lamp Bulbs http://amazon.co.uk/dp/B009J54W4M Sam
I did, but they could only offer £6500 and advised I sold it privately. Despite the condition they said it'd struggle to sell as the mileage would put off the average customer so it would end up being auctioned off! Sam
Mmm that's what I was thinking. That 0% finance doesn't help us with 2012 blades at the moment if trying to sell. Fingers crossed it will go.
My blade is my winter hack / distance tourer. It may yet become a track bike too but prob best I replace the cable tied footrest with some new bling.
Right, bike needs to go. Nothing but time wasters so far!! £7000 no offers - fantastic bike for this price! For sale until this Friday or it gets part ex'd on Saturday Sam
Manchester dude and they have a good website .Take some photos and email John and then phone up " saves the tears"
Hmmm sounds like a good idea but I'm down in Surrey so can't imagine they'd want to drive down to collect it and still give me a great price?...
sam - As the #2 Honda dealer in UK and biggest blade seller in UK by a long shot they deliver bikes all over UK, so can't see collection from Surrey a problem. VERY worst case you ride up Saturday morning, hand bike over, walk 2 minutes to Mauldeth road train, 1 stop to Manchester, fast train 2.10hrs to Euston and train home - yes a faff but... if the price is right your bike is gone, cheque / transfer whatever and its deal done - no messing, no more let downs. If you mention you know Alan with the mega mile blade who also got the Cal Crutchlow R1 from them it may help - I got my mate free delivery of his new blade to Essex. Don't think John there this week, but other folk will look after you Re value its a tough call, my 12 month old R1 with 3k miles was valued at £7k as trade in against a brand new 2012 Blade at £10,400 - R1 / Blade values similar so really hard to value a 20,000 mile bike - I would have had it like a shot if I was in the market as those miles its just run in I have seen 2012 blades (ok without ABS) go for £8250 when new ones were £10,400 with 5 years 0% , and 2009 low mileage bikes are £6,500 (have a look at Hunts Motorcycles, Manchester : View our used bikes and also Used Bikes of the Week : Hunts Motorcycles of Manchester to get an idea)
