Sorry everyone I would just like to say "Hi" again as I've not been on much and have just started posting again! I intend to be on here a lot more now. I'm from Eyemouth in the Scottish Borders and love the roads around my area!
I really want to start going further next year and would like to get away down to Squires as I've never been there before. So winter is nearly here and its just getting the bike ready for next year and riding it as much as possible before the salt goes on the roads.

Nearly forgot I ride a 2011 Black and white Blade lol I will post pictures once I'm back on dry land as I work offshore :)

You have the best roads on your doorstep mate.

Love it down there and have to say that up were I'm now staying is nowhere near as good, and is busy in comparison.

Welcome back, used to live nr Lanark few yrs back, the scottish border roads n sceneray are fabulous!!

As peeps says Squires is a trek, but do - able in a long summer day, however you could make a long w.end n stop at Scarborough or surrounding areas n it aint far from Squires, plenty of folks on here from that neck of the woods so you'd have plenty if guides to show u round :)

Other good place for a day is Hartside Cafe - down past Eskdailmuir, Longtown, Brampton, Alston and up to Hartside.

With 3 weeks off at a time I'd be catching the ferry to Holland and visiting Germany if you have the option.

Also agree you have some cracking roads in the area - also stuff round Keilder water, Northumbria etc. are belting roads.

Love it along the borders, i'm along there tomorrow (work) but they're where you'll find me most ride outs. Could happily live up there.

Im heading upto Scotland May next yr, got biker mates in Glasgow who do ride outs every w.end and pics are posted on mcn forums every week

Gonna ride up the back roads to Glasgow, only bit motorway os from chapel Holmes nr knutsford up to A6 Preston, then up to green welly, Tyndrum, along the A65 - Oban ( 1st nite stop ) Oban - fort William along the coast road, via the kinlochleven loop, then my fav Scottish road the A87 up to kyle of lochash , going up along the coast roads to ullapool n as far north as Durness and even Cape Wrath ( think the raf bomb this place when they're training in target practice )
