I've been paid for some of my bike bits and want my money! It usually goes into my bank account straight away but for some reason they're keeping it still, 3 days now! Takes the piss, when I transfer money to them it goes straight away. PFFT
I had a similar thing recently YT which once I got to the bottom of it I was to blame ( by accident ) I bought a timer for about £50.00 and did the paypal bit as normal but the lady I bought it off said she had not been paid so I went into my paypal and my card that normally funds paypal transactions had expired by date ! And of course I was not aware so I tapped my new card issue number in and it was a quick fix .......However in the mean time paypal had accepted my purchase and had set up payment for the timer by Echeque ( electronic cheque) which in principle is ok but the lady had to wait 10 days for payment .In good faith she sent me the timer and it was resolved as soon as it cleared .So something similar may be going on in your case .Hope this helps.
Nope, he's right, PayPal are nobheads. I bought a second hand item recently that was not as described, but paypal refused my claim as they only honour not as described claims for used items if the item received is a completely different item altogether. Nobheads.
just do not post anything until the money is clear as there is scammers out there that retract payment right away and it still will show in your account for a few days getting you to post the bits.thats why you see a lot of sellers saying posted as soon as cleared payment.
"Hi, I requested withdrawal of some funds from my paypal account to my bank account on the 31st, it is now the 3rd. I want my money. It's never been a problem before and always transferred straight away. What is the problem? Or is it simply because it is gaining interest in your bank and not in mine for the past 4 days. Regards Mark Thompson"
Are ya sure u haven't sold ur stuff to sum Nigerian who is waiting for you to send him a cheque for £2500 n then he can release the millions you have won in a lottery you have never heard of or in fact entered
I had a Nigerian prince contact me about the tragic death of a long lost family member, I just have to give this nice prince my bank account info to recieve my inheritance moooooniiesssss! I can trust him after all he's a prince right?
YT do PayPal not have any methods of communication that you can use to speak to a person to help you get to the bottom of why the transaction has been held back?
Ive emailed them. Did call them but hung up as soon as it said it was 20p a minute or something they would of only kept me on hold stacking up charges. Why is the world like this? Cos theres so much money to be made by insurance companies, call centres, foreign customer helplines etc. They are the devil!!!
Their email address is [email protected] I had to jump through hoops to get it and they still refused my claim even when I quoted Distance Selling Regulations, but apparently it's ok to misadvertise a used item, t055ers!
PayPal helpline is a freephone number 0800 I used it the other day and found them very helpful...although they couldn't actually help me get my money back, it's a long story !! Lol As a word of caution, when sending money as a gift, make sure the email address you are given is exactly right, spelling etc.... Otherwise kiss goodbye to the cash forever !!
