In way to work this morning, saw me first sight of a house decked out in xmas decs, not much but they had the flashing lights all along the top!! Its only 5th November ffs n Bonfire night ya loonies!! Ours aint gerring done until the 01.12.2013 even then the Mrs is doing em as she wasnt allowed when she was younger ha ha ha ha saft woman!!
ours wont be getting done until at least the 20th Dec, and then as little as possible to please the wife, Baah Humbug Roll on the Spring, I hate this time of year
The big switch on for outside lights is Dec 1 in our Close, its all rather competitive and testosterone filled. Mine are on a timer so they flick on at the strike of midnight 1 Dec, that fecked them all some years ago. A few tried to cheat but they were yellowed carded. Its not the taking part that counts, just the winning
I'm a firm believer in not starting Christmas until December. (although I will buy presents early in the sales)
I love Christmas, but it doesnt start till around the 2nd week of December for me. We will be in New York during December this year so that should get us in the mood.
I could quite happily give Christmas a swerve, but then I've never had children. Always saw it as a family celebration. Also I work outside so give me Spring/Summertime any day.
I thought you were Father Christmas... When I read in the paper you were caught on somebody's roof, coming down their chimney...
Well the Mrs gave me a list of wit she wanted, so picked a few items off it and already wrapped them up for her n hidden them. ( We dont keep owt under the tree just incase some twat comes in our home uninvited, we wrap up small cardboard boxes in xmas wrapping paper n put small bags of beans ( for weight ) in there to give the illusion their prezzies ) Now i dont have to worry about prezzies n doing the mad dash round in rhe run upto xmas, any spare dry day ill be out on bike riding
I reckon I know who father christmas is...cos all I hear when I visit my bank manager at chrimbo is Ho Ho Ho!
