Noticed that both me babies were covered in condensation tonight inside the garage with today's weather etc Best thing IMHO is not to cover them in sheets or covers and just let em breath?
Good air circulation, fan on a timer, dont even need heat. I find it worst when cold frosty dry weather is followed by a warm atlantic front with warmer moist air. Yeah agree on the covers thing, the water vapour will get under and around any cover and then condense on cold metal. Acf50 helps.
I use a normal dust sheet under the cover and it stops the condensation. I found covers like the oxford one made it worse in my garage :s
Not sure how big an area you got Sinewave? But perhaps something to draw some of the moisture out? Dehumidifiers are great, as OP said, air flow is paramount, Also charcoal, salt, rice etc are very good absorbants, but that said, you'll never completely iliminate it, the salt and the rice for example can be re used, just a matter of spreading it out on a couple of trays and putting it in an oven for a while to dry it out before re using. Lot of wobble box owners use such methods to help keep the insides at a tolerable moisture content, with quite good results too. Perhaps understanding how and why it forms could help? I know you love links http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Condensation
Good circulation or little bit of draft will keep the condensation at bay. Have u got summat else in the garage like a fridge / freezer thats creating it??
They would have to as thin as worms to get through the mesh Good point made though Flynn, a worthy comment, perhaps covering it or storing it up high, away from the pesky mickeys Mr Firebloke can confirm the damage they can do when they get inside your helmet ooh err
For those who are keen to spend money over the winter - Motorcycle Air Chamber - Available in Standard or Large
Ive got my girl covered in fleece throw overs n never had a problem either, much cheaper than fancy bike covers to
I use to get a lot of condensation but since buying a Dehumidifier I get none at all just empty it every couple of days well worth the investment
as above (and garyb) sorted out any moisture build up in my garage. only problem can be they freeze up in the cold cold weather and dont work too well then .(well mine doesn't at least)

I had one of those for the car Carcoon Storage System by (MrB), on Flickr Now I keep the bikes indoors so no problem.
