I've recently moved from sunny Beckenham, to not so sunny South Wales. Weather has been a bit crap the last week or so, today the sun has decided to come out. Sun is out, roads are dry, so have just spent the last couple of hours on the A4061 heading over towards Brecon. So good weather, on a fantastic road, on an even better bike! Just got to remember to dodge the sheep, who have a habit of standing in the middle of the road on blind bends!
I know what you mean there Oli I was there last year for a long weekend and the buggers just stand there usually licking the road What's that all about !!!!!
Loads of stunning roads that way and spend much of my time over there. Roads around Abber are great. Up to Elan Vally are super And as your now local and use many of the roads I haev been for years. Sounds like a reason to have a meet at some point
me on my Old Speed triple out with the BIL in my kit car just touring about. BIL drives like a granny so I was only touring ;_
Why's that? the people. strange as they are I got many welsh friends. I know I know poor more. But the roads are amazing. Why going crazy and why the move there? if I can get out this weekend r u free?
Long story as to the move, short version is........ Split up with the missus last July, moved out, rented a flat in Beckenham, so was paying mortgage on the house the ex and daughter live in and rent on a flat. Made redundant in April, job market a nightmare, ran out of money, only choice was to move in with the folks in Wales, till I get another job. Weekend meet would be excellent mate.
