Thanks Jez, you done good mate. Was one of the easiest mods I've done, took about an hour. Undo the mirror's, the two Allen bolts on the air vents, the two middle screen bolts, the main nose undertray. Pull the nose forward, undo the three retaining screws for the clocks, unplug the connector. Follow the reverse, go into the settings and learn the gears for the gear indicator, done.
At home on call , so I've washed the bike , and now starting to take All the extras off it , 6 items will be up for sale , Look in the for sale thread , soon
Gave it a good wash - it was minging from when I rode it last and weather/shifts have meant I haven't had the chance to clean it - until now!
Brought a gear indicator from fellow member should arrive mid week ready to fit next week now just waiting for Moto GP to start
After the Moto GP I'm going to remove the fuel tank in preparation for installing the HM+ quick shifter that I will hopefully be installing tommorrow, oh and the K+N air filter that should be turning up.
Nothing exciting just got it on the stands and hammered it in silicone everywhere inc all the little brake caliper bolts .It seems to work so I will chance the odd salty road if it gets dryer and warmer FFS.
Almost ashamed to say that I've given her (what will probably be) the last polish of 2013, and tucked her away under her cover for the winter. Bring on Spring 2014! Managed to get a couple of snaps of her before she went away...
Been clay pigeon shooting today, fab weather and fab time, even got lucky and hit the first six clays in a row Shoulder killing a tad due to the kick back, but good fun
Rode my bike for an hour, was too cold and the roads were still wet. Came home washed it and it's on the stands wrapped up for winter.
Nothing to the bike as the frame and engine are away getting worked on, but have painted the garage floor!!
Wish I had that much free room in my garage! Got these.. just need some brembo banjo's for my HEL's and ill be fitting them to the race blade (Thx mish!)
Started my blade up for 20mins an cleaned it. The Daytona gets her heart back this weekend so tool box is at the ready. Wheels powered coated or plastic dipped or paint??? Powered cheaper. At £40 for both wheels.
Fired her up today and warmed her through.First time ive had her running since end of sept what with work committments and that. Removed battery to put on the optimate in the spare room. The big clean starts on friday.
I have just fitted a DB screen and a genuine Honda rear hugger, last ride tomorrow if it's dry that is and then put her to bed.
Fitted new PR3 rear at went out tonigh for a ride. Just back, fook are the roads slippery, far from ideal for scrubbing a new tyre in
Ok mate, just couldn't get any power down even in a straight line! Russ was out, so always going to be comical........
