Do you have a picture of the actual product laid out? How would one know whether they would need longer cable lengths for example? That could only be determined if we can see the the whole set up and try and visualise where each part would go on the bike and then figure out the length of wire needed to reach the relevant sensors. Hope you get what i mean and I'm not being too thick So the correct loom is not included in the price neither? regardless of whether you have a Plus or not already.
Yes, it will work with an external Blipper unit. Built in traction control is still in development and will be coming soon and will be available via a firmware upgrade. I thought you had to have flybywire throttle to get auto blippers? re: Yamaha R1. I Didn't think that could be fitted on a Blade

that looks liek a lot of work..... Will have to sort out my new HM dash first and that doesn't look that easy, so might have to stick a normal QS on for next season... otherwise I'll be spending more time in my laptop than on the bike So if anyone wants to sell there old (cheap) QS then let me know through a pm
It takes all of 10 minutes to set that up mate, I've just shown all the tabs on the configuration tool. Once it's set up, that's it unless you want to make changes for any reason.
At the moment, it would appear from what I have read that the blip facility to downshift is not yet available, neither is the traction control. So in terms of the 'here and now' the practical difference between this and the HM Plus is the capability to do seamless changes for 1st and 2nd gear as well. or have I got this wrong ? Although it has the potential to add the traction control and blip downshift when they are available ! Seems like a lot of price difference atm for what is currently available on the GP version ie £800 as opposed to £375 for HM Plus. I am not meaning to sound negative but just trying to evaluate what is on offer and the actual cost. If I have misunderstood things then someone please put me right, it would not be the first time I have misunderstood/misinterpreted something.
Here is the thing, a low mileage 12 plate Blade is c. £8k add this QS takes it to almost £9k with fitting if needed. A decent can say another £500, a Brembo M/C and lines and you are about £10k Re gear it slightly (as many suggest) for another £250 (fitted) and you would have a really tasty bit of kit If you really want to bling it lightweight BST wheels and you are at £12 - 13k - if you can outride a bike with all that kit you should be in Senior or similar I would think
Don't forget the HM Plus is a GREAT Quickshifter the best on the market around the £400 mark. The GP shifter takes Quickshifter tech to a whole new level. Most riders would be happy with the plus but for those who want or need an advantage they should consider the GP. Or if like me you want the best buy the GP and be done with it Ha ha
sorry to bust yer bubble mate, but it's not down to the bike on our levels, it's got more to do with the donkey that rides it maybe a motogp/wsbk/BSB level it would make a difference, but not to any club racer it won't........
Dave if there are any dry days in December I'm coming to yours for a cuppa then a quick 20min ride down the road for an hour or two......
No mate I'm thinking of the place 20mins from Dave's place and my bike being left there for an hour or two.....
