 Well winter looks like it has caught up at last with Tuesday 19th November being the first true drop in temperature with Snow forecast higher in the hills of Scotland The North and Wales .Freezing winds will also be noted .Whilst this thread looks like a welcome to winter jobbie it's not .We will have guys working all over the country on here and including my son who is away in Teeside .So when and if in the coming weeks we experience proper incoming situations that are deemed to be dangerous then please post up .

Aye, Teesside's certainly not enjoying BBQ weather tonight, Giv. I might have to finally switch the heating on

That's a relief, I thought it was the nasty side effects of an undercooked deep fried Mars bar

We've just had a little bit of snow here in Co. Durham. Nothing serious. Just blowing around on the breeze. I kinda want it to lay. I want to test my winter tyres out :D

Well icy around the local lanes this morning, must have dropped quick last night after the rain stopped. Looks like the gritter boys stayed in bed. Made for an interesting ride up to the motorway. Good news is that its clearing the fair weathers off the commuting lanes.

I should clarify that it's car winter tyres I'm talking about. Do they even do bike winter tyres????

They're Hankook Winter iCept Evo. Even in the wet and cold they're miles better than the summers I had on.
