Amazing 3 days. My riding has improved alot but I dont think my legs would last much longer on the bike. I was struggling but its worth it. Need to go to the gym I think Still got a long way to go to getting faster but hopefully alot more tracktime next year it will all come together. So definitely more euro trackdays are going to booked, so addictive! Also thinking of tracking the blade. What do you lot think? Its pretty much standard or shall i look into getting a track ready 1000 with wow etc
Glad you boys had a good time!! I'm so jealous there is no way I'm letting you do this again without going lol
Defo be doing Jerez in November again I can't put in to words just how good the track is you really do feel like you are moto gp rider . I really do hope we can get a few of here doing it as we would have a right laugh. I will be putting a deposit down as soon as the date comes up I will be putting some of my pics up that the photo guy did it will give you a good idea of how good the track is . Shall I start a thread to see who would be up for it ? I will work out my costs to give you a realistic cost which will include everything including my tyres .
Now that is like trying to pick which one of the Swedish Volley ball teams goes first! lol.... for me i'd love to do portimao - it just looks incredible. But if a few wanted to go elsewhere, i'd happily go with the flow! as it's the good crack that makes it for me.
I haven't added it all up yet but I reckon between £1000-£1250. But I was riding on pirelli supercorsa's and they lasted 4 dampish sessions at Oulton and 3 days at jerez. However im not the quickest so best to budget another set of tyres. The bigger the group from here the better. Im happy to do Jerez again its that good. Had a laugh out there!
James is about right there with the budget which includes the trip, flights, track insurance, hire car( a mini bus if a few did it),fuel on track, spending money lunch, dinner, beer etc. Regarding tyres next year if you run a fast pace and have not done Jerez i would suggest 1st day-Scrubs or used set of tyres while you learn the track 2nd day-This is the best day as you know the track so get new tyres on which should last til the end of 3rd day pretty much. The mistake i made i got my slicks on at lunch on the first day they were fecked after a day and half so needed a new slick on the last day.So can be costly for tyres .
