Ffs why me again!

    Well I'm feeling sorry for myself sat up A&E again!
    This time whilst working my nightshift I was checking the back of a HGV trailer to see what was on it and a driver backs on too couple up the trailer, I have one hand on the roller door and that's hurt my sholder and my thumb and I have twisted and agrivated my knee that was replaced last year!

    I'm sore but don't think anything is broken but just want to get on with my shift but work won't let me :(
    I have to be fully checked over before going back.

    Anyone up at this time to take the piss out of me?

    Well I'm out just bruising to shoulder, thumb and chest. My knee has some fluid build up which may need to be drained but I can deal with that.

    Walking round the NEC Sunday will be a challenge so anyone got a mobility scooter

    sounds like an insurance set up with the driver to me…..
    i will have an "accident" then go to bike show to put deposit down on a new bike.
    i bet the driver is claiming for work related stress now
    smells more fishy than grimsby to me.

    Get well soon mate. You sound like me, need to be kept occupied so having to sit home and rest will drive you nuts. Got to be done tho to let your body heal so put your feet up and get the parts catalogue out.

    Just proves you can't be left alone for five minutes Martin, and that you really do need a carer with you when you're out in the community ;)

    Seriously though, i Hope All smooths out OK, your injuries are only superficial and work don't dig too deep into the incident, because if they do?

    Someone's arse is going to get a serious kicking for gross misconduct!

    Christ did was the trailer brake not on? Wishing you a speedy recovery.

    I tipped at Heathrow last night saw a pallet of salmon collapse on one our drivers he ducked out the way luckily but the stupid FLT driver panicked got up to check he was OK and let it roll into the trailer with huge forks it nearly took the lad out. Really shat me up!!
