I seem to have problems with the dash

I have the installation guide and have done part 1

Can't do part 2 because I can't find the installation application

    where to go next???

Also something else, I thought the dash was supposed to be blue, is this when plugged in to the bike? because when plugged into the PC it isn't...

    cheers

Have you even downloaded the programme?

Go to Downloads section on the hmquickshifter.com website and the programme and other tools are there to download.

Dash will be Blue once plugged into bike.

If you've downloaded the software/drivers I'm sure the dash eliminates with the laptop connected and without the bikes ignition being switched on.

trying to set up the dash and change it from yamaha R6 to the blade.....

Which program app do I need?

Or do I just plug it in the bike and it'll sort itself out? I have no idea what to do here, am installing all sorts of things, you would expect it to be a little bit easier, and come with proper instructions ;)

Post 9 above Dave's is what you need. which can be found in the link he put.

Click on Dave V's link > HM Dash > HM DASH PC software > HM Dash Firmware Update Tool v2.1.2

Also make sure you download the correct firmware for your bike which can be found under those submenus too.

Thanks Ahmedf, It's booting up the honda now......

    thanks Dave V aswell

Just another question, do you guys use this on track aswell? if so can you load tracks? or how do you set up the laptimer? I know theres a guide for it, but now I'm just being lazy :D

when setting up sprockets it says that the bike is a VFR 400, anyway to change this? Max speed is 216 according to the stock sprockets, with my sprockets it's only 193 :D

I've not long had the dash mate, haven't used it on the track and not much chance to play with all the settings. I have seen the page where the sprokets are set up, can't imagine there's much to it?

The Laptimer works on GPS, there's two modes manual and auto. Don't know about storing actual tracks, I think it's more around the data from the sessions- Could well be wrong though.

In the downloads there's a document on it.

Sorry If I'm stating the obvious Skippy, but assume you have a backplate for the blade which you've swapped the R6 one for?

You also need to change the bike model in the menus. Its caters not just for blades.

I think its in "setup" menu and then somewhere it should say "model" or something along those lines. scroll through till you hit the Blade. Then go off and set up your sprockets and gear ratios etc

Best advice here, Has a manual for the features etc. A bit basic but a good place to get started
