    Anyone know where it might be possible to get a 24L endurance/race tank?

    When they dont give a price it scares me ! any ideas how much these cost

    Got a mate that builds his own bikes, made his own machine to make curved mudguards, I'm sure he could make you one, want me to ask?

    He built this with a Vincent Black Shadow engine and a Harley gearbox all converted to belt drive, frame was made in a jig he made for the job.

    Just get your current one blown out. You'll save a fortune and it's under a skin anyway!

    ? Ok i will ask ? Blown out ? How do you do it, what capacity does it go to and can the process fcuk the tank ?

    Have you seen the difference between a HRC tank cover and regular?

    Look at the shape of your tank and look at mine here;

    Basically it gets cut at the back and a new section welded in. Wont ruin the tank at all, might make your fuel readings slightly off though? Im not 100% on that but possible.

    Then you fit an HRC tank cover and bobs your uncle.

    Not sure on exactly what size mine is but it was fine for the TT.

    i agree souleh get the airline in and blow to your hearts content lol well the tt boys do it on their 600s to get the 2 laps in :eek:

    where did you get the welding and section done souleh? did it cost much?

    More for fuel range to be honest! As looking to do some decent touring abroad next year

    Yeah but I just sold them cause next year will be too difficult for 16.5's!

    Was done by previous team mate, couldnt tell you. Shouldnt be too much!

    I was getting 150 to a tank sitting at 70-80 on a trip to Croatia this year, the Ducatis were only getting 95, and most of us were glad to be stopping with them.
