Headers

Will the headers(front pipes) from an 04-05 bike fit the 07 model ??
I realise the earlier bike doesn't have the O2 sensor fitting just in front of the cat
But thats easily fitted....as long as the pipes physically fit the engine/frame and existing rear standard silencer.

They do fit but you have to cut the right lower fairing a little as the 04\05 down pipes are wider on the right side.

 

Ahhh...cut them by much ??
If it's going to mean a bit of butchery then I might hold out for some proper 07 ones..

I just want a spare set I can de-cat but keep my originals complete in case I want to revert back ever

 

Just buy USA headers from same year no cat or 02 sensor

 

Won't the lack of O2 sensor throw up a error code on the engine management system ??

 

No you can use a resistor but ring dynojet 02 eliminator £21 I think

 

Have a set of headers off an 07 blade with sensor if you're interested Tom?
