What a great weekend, awesome to catch up with some old faces and meet others for the first time. Big shout has got to go to Col, the captain (captain logistics) a personal thanks to Nav for picking us up day one. Didn't take many photos and batt died, here's a few I did get. Lol, didn't even know these ones were taken, bundle!
Back in England back from our holidays. Just a quick one (maybe a few) before the last leg of our epic journey. Boy does a pint taste so much better when your paying £6 a pint
Top time, all! Southern Massive - remember to wash before going home. There were some dangerous northern pathogens oooooop there. Next time I go that far north I'm wearing a hazmat suit.
Excel is the next one!! You boys coming down?? Shit show, but not like we looked at any bikes yesterday! We will have a blast....
Don't get lulled into a false sense of security, Mike. That was midlands ale you were supping, or Indian Pale Ale, as it's known in the UK. There's more stimulants in Lucozade.
To be fair ken, I've never seen that effect on a dude drinking lucozade! Giv and Si were officially "c@nted" They were drinking "fine wine" though.... Although we soon lowered the tone
Few photos from me - was great night but blimey I've paid for it today... First beer at the hotel (other than the 2 on the train from Manchester) Met up in Walkabout Bar Then onto Curry House Andy's conversation had quite an impact on Marion...
end of night we ended up Pizza central, so I woke up with this in the room Look at their eyes.. Spotted this after missing my train by 30 seconds which added a bit of time to the trip home... Great company just wish I felt human - no way could I have driven home today
Glad everyone has got home ok .Just about coming round proper now a good wallop of pasta seems to have steadied the nerves. Many thanks to Si who picked me up and dropped me off . He decided to turn the sat-nav onto avoid tolls but then decided to use the toll and in a final twist in this sad little tale he then came off before our junction " At a toll booth" .So after paying he completely lost his mind and drove back up the same motorway towards the Northwest and ended up paying at the Toll booth on that side . Great to meet Lambeth who although he was very reserved at the dinner table seemed a really cool dude .Yorkshire Tyke was " as thought" full of beans and good crack and again nice to meet for the first time .Andy and Marrion appear to be a unit now so best wishes in their future together didn't see them after the Indian so no doubt they found a love nest nearby. Colin and close friend Craig ( Shiney side up ) put in a decent attendance and was nice to meet up again . Now then ! Jimbo and Dave it's been said before ( Starting with the Scottish trip ) These are proper beer monsters and can easily live upto the image of the legends they are. Al was epic last night and respect for caning it from the off. Jason managed to scoff a meal in the hotel prior to landing in the Indian which considering the shear amount of Keg he put away it may have helped long term to mop up the excess. Didn't manage to meet or speak to Navvy as he disappeared around the time of the Indian so hope you had a good time . So that's it dudes ! A really good quality Fireblade forum meet which was a total success Ta again Col.
Great pics Al, I cannot remember most if them..... i concur with Giv, great laugh, and top people. many thanks to Col for organising this, I think he'll still be wasted this afternoon....haha. Here's to the next one! I usually have a glass of merlot with my dinner, every night. Tonight,I cannot stomach the thought, that's saying something. and Giv, you forgot to add that you puked when we got back to the digs. Hahahaha........
Not quite but very near and in the past it would have been a full on Exorcist job .I must have been that finished that I skipped the spinning room scenario which was good I would have hated to wake up and give Si a full on blast while he was asleep ( no I wouldn't)
