I've done some shopping for the bike today. ASV levers, R & G fork protectors and radiator guard. Gonna let the kids get me the R & G aero crash protectors for xmas and the missus can get me a Healtech gear indicator. Just hope she doesn't notice the difference when I fit them.
Didn't you hide the track bike!? Lol I'm similar... She never moans, I just don't always disclose all purchases, as then I don't run the risk of having to take her shopping to 'balance the books' lol....
Yeah, a bit of that goes on as well! Noticed she'd bought some new Boots tother week, said Fek all just did a quite Google one night! ORCHID-DRY at Russell & Bromley
I got my misses to buy my levers. I bought her some Honda racegloves at the show. It all worked out rather well I thought
Last week out of the blue my other half said to me " I am not your missus, we are not married". Puzzled because there had been no conversation to warrant this exclamation I asked her why she said it. Her reply sent shivers down my spine " You referred to me as your Missus on one of your posts on the Fireblade forum ". Apparently she has frequented the site a few times to see what I had purchased..... I mean posted. So from now on any mods may never get a mention in my posts.
That's what I love about mods on a bike Ohlins rear shock or standard shock - mrs no idea just a chunk of yellow metal Power commander 5 - hidden under the seat QS- wouldn't know it was there Slicks tyre - just tyres to the mrs Sds dual carbon brake pads-hidden Yoshi exhaust - just part of the bike to the mrs The list goes on The bit that caught me out was buying another bike and staying logged on to my eBay account she found a lot out with that mistake .
What difference does it make ? On my second sentence she had already drifted back onto towie or whatever she watches ha ha
That was the plan but she saw I had bought a rad guard for a bmw s1000rr I was going to say its the same one for a honda cbr1000 but she isn't fecking stupid .
