Never heard of your probs before usually crops up on forums but I couldn't find any negative reviews most people with bleed nipples over torque 8 nm max anything more it will bleed through the nipple . You can buy pazzos for them I'm sure mike said you could get them
Yeah that's what BDS said! And like I told them well it does! Problem is not so many around so reviews are hard to find, anyway I pay the little extra and buy the Brembo.
Be interested to see how it pans out.... For the money the finish seemed decent IMO. As per performance and quality time will tell. But I'll defo let you know either way. On a selfish note, I do hope yours was an isolated case and you were just unlucky lol
I have Brembo RCS on the blade and accossato on the ZX6R race bike both doing the same sort of job at the mo no brake fade and nice firm lever im happy at the mo with mine if there were complaints they might have cleaned them up .
Not wrong, tbh the bloke talked to me like a twat, even though I've raced/tracked bikes for 30 years! Told me how to do up a bleed nipple ffs. I'm not kidding both were the same, and the lad with his z1 had a similar problem, I know the blob of sealant only holds the dust seal but it looks shit on a brake master and mine came unstuck! just my view though. Hate the things now.
Not wanting to get into an argument but we don't give Chris Walker anything, his team pay for them like anyone else. Ref your cylinders, did you notice if fluid was leaking from the thread, the centre hole or both? Did it lose pressure under use or when parked? The silicone sealant on the dust seal is an anti tamper seal, it does not hold the seal in place. I'm happy to pressure test any cylinder if there might be an issue.
Mate you went over all this on the phone, only at the time you seemed not to have the time. Now here on a public forum you post up and cover your base. You had your chance to resolve it and did not. I still have both of them somewhere they leaked from the thread as I told you ages ago. As far as I am concerned Ive put the whole thing to bed and lost out. I am happy with my Brembo masters. There is no argument.
Ha Ha, I got over it ages ago mate, lost money but hey, you live and learn. Oh and BDS, IF you don't give Chris Walker anything then maybe you should, as payment for using his name to boost your PR.
Ok but I can't resolve a problem over the phone if you won't go through some basic tests. It's impossible for a bleed nipple seat to leak and fluid to appear from the thread but not the centre.
Mike, I assume this is Mike? You seem to lack the basic skill of communicating with the customer. I am the customer. Your opening line is already defensive before you've even said or asked anything. I have already told you they leak from round the thread of the bleed nipple, and yet you say it's impossible! You ARE impossible! If you do not believe what the customer is telling you then there is no hope, quite frankly I think you are rude and unhelpful. I do not wish to deal with you or your company again but do however feel I am entitled to air my point of view and experience with your product on an open and public forum, you have already demonstrated how impossible it is to convey to you the problem with the masters. As far as I am concerned you had an opportunity to resolve the issue well over a year ago but you claimed I did not have a problem, the error was my own fault, and implied no returns would be accepted. So from me I will not waist any more time with it.
I do believe what you told me i.e. there was fluid around the thread but if the seat were leaking it would also appear in the centre. If you tie the lever back overnight & it has lost pressure in the morning and has fluid exiting from the nipple centre then you have a leaking seat, if not then the issue is residual fluid. If you still have the cylinders return them to me, I will send them to Italy for testing FOC and if they are leaking I will refund the original purchase price.
Sorry guys I dissagree, so you have a problem with a product, you get the brush off and rude service then a year and a half later you post up your experience with said item and dealer comes on line with much the same rude responce and offers not to refund it but to send it away for testing and they might refund it IF they feel it's faulty! Sorry but that's damm poor! My masters leak from the treads of the bleeder but Bds say that's impossable, my guess is the profile of the nipple is wrong maybe, I tried other nipples from probolt etc and was just the same, when you pull the lever back small amount of fluid creeps from the threads. Got a 19x18 brembo in frustration no problem at all. Now Bds have a review in public he decides to try and help. Horse Stable door Bolted
Ive had these on three bikes and love em. Also recommended them to three of my mates who have now got one. Can't fault the quality or finish at all. But I suppose its like everything. You get good ones, you get bad ones. must be very unlucky to get two bad ones though.
