i think the low fuel warning light dosnt work cbr 1000 rr 4

hi chaps does the fuel low warning light come on when you switch ign on then go off or does it only come on when you are low on fuel thanks darran

 

IIRC, it should come on with ignition....

Put key in, turn ign on but don't fire up the bike. See if all accessory lights light up.

If not, the bulbs gone.

 

did that mate everything lights up as it should but not the fuel light so hopefully just the bulb needs changing and not the whole pump because the fuel senser is knackerd

 

Can you hear the fuel pump when you first switch the ignition on?

 

yes mate the bike starts and runs fine

 

just been out on the bike for a little spin and the fuel light as just come on so its working so happy now thanks all

 

Daz I told you yesterday the lights don't come on on 2004/2007 models. Si on 2008+ plus bike an they do light up ;-)

 

ive never been happy to see a fuel light come on in my life
