Hey, A friend of mine is starting out as a motorcycle photographer. He is travelling the country shooting peoples bikes for them andmaking personalised keepsakes etc Here is one he done for me of my last bike. He wants to shoot my blade in an underground carpark so ill post it up when its done. If anyone wants his email address PM me. i had to compress it right down to post so lost quality.
Ill speak to him tomorrow . Im sure he will do a really good deal for forum members to promote him self. He is mainly interested in making a good portfolio so he may only want his cost covered. Ill post a link to his web site aswell so you can see his work properly. He has done a few custom bikes for a harley dealer in england somewhere that made a magazine. He is very picky with the background and asks for a pic of your bike then ask you to scout around for some locations. For example my bike was red and we found a theatre with curvey wall painted half red with eagles flying. Turned out the above.. people always ask if the background is real when they se the proper print. If you dont want a back ground then he can make it all on white to ( looks Mint ) Ill get some details tomorrow and a link to his site
theres plenty of location near me, anythin from multi storeys to grafitti covered buildings to football stadiums
Ok i spoke to him today and he is going to work out the best deal he can produce pictures for . For now please check out his site to get a real feel for how good the work is mine looks good here... scroll down to see more Paul Rees Photography
Ok guys .. Sorry for the delay. Paul has been away shooting at the harley dealers Talking this over i think individual shoots may be a bit to expensive for an individual however he has just come back from a 2 day shoot where he photographed 30 bikes. Hew suggested a group meet and a shared price for everyone to get a few shots done. He can provide a mobile studio at an agreed venue where interested riders could all meet and take turns setting theyre bike up for a shot. He suggested a whare house he shoots the harleys in where they have a mechanical turn table and white back drop etc. Im not sure if this is to much to set up or if anyone would even be interested. Maybe somebody has a venue in a cebtral place where a group meet shoot could take place? Let me know what u think?
Thats what i was thinking,, Paul mentioned taking a large group photo aswell . maybe produce a poster or something. Im hoping an administrator or owner of the forum agrees and encourages the idea
