I m hopefully going to make five engine spacers for the 2008-2011 Honda CBR1000RR. The engine spacer holds the engine in place on the left hand side (See item 5 in image). These are made to the same specifications as the standard honda item but 22 grams lighter and stronger than the standard item. These are unique a part as there are no one else making or selling these. This is an ideal upgrade for a track or race bike. I hope to sell these delivered for £23.99. No money will be taken until they are ready. Please let me know if you are interested.
You got to be joking surely........................................every time you are out on the bike just buy a costa coffee, 2 pound coins 20 grammes ................job done llf
its an alloy so wouldnt think it would be any more trouble than any other metal with the right tooling, i think colin on here will be able to shed more light on that one
Buy the coffee then chuck it in the bin..........................you saved 20 grammes at the end of the day, that is what this thread is about...No?
Titanium isn't that bad to cut to be honest. So long as u use plenty of coolant, the right tools and don't push it to hard. It cuts a lot easier than some of the other super alloys out there. Would I put it on my bike? Not in this lifetime !!!
