    Hi all,
I'm prepping 2 sets of RR5 bodywork ready to go for a honda legends replica scheme on both. Does anyone know the correct paint codes? I can get the codes for the original paint from an NC/RC30, but i think John McGuiness' race bikes carried metallic paint.

Here's a picture of what i'm going for!

Also, I'll be selling one of the sets, the way my painter buys paint he'll have enough for both sets. His work is awesome and he's a perfectionist so the quality will be outstanding. All panels are genuine Honda too and will have all the right heat matting so will be ready to fit. No other RR5's in this paint scheme that i'm aware of too!

Sorry Andrew! I think it'd look awesome on the underseat blade, i'm going to go for a white seat unit with black numberboards on the side going up onto the seat cover. Both sets are being started on Monday so i hope to have pictures up very soon, definitily by mid october.

To be honest i haven't even thought about a price, the Chinese sets go for £400 plus any import taxes so these being genuine Honda with better paint and no surprise customs charges they've got to be worth a fair bit?! Not sure what's a fair price or a cheeky price...!

Try phoning Spraybay racepaints in immingham, they spray, amongst others, the TT legends, HM Plant bikes, also parkalgar honda, and many many more.

Could spread on Mcguinesses race bike in performance bikes ( i think it was PB anyway ) last month . Said it the most famous blade in the uk with all its wins this year and past seasons

The jurno who took it out said the road racing bikes don't have the sound restrictions BSB bikes have so it was super loud and the most powerfull bike he has rode .. Any body read it ? it was good

Yup I read that 1. He was saying that the riding position was set for comfort riding. I'd give my left kidney for a lap on that beaut ;)

Yup, its true about them being built in louth aswell, i can remember 15 brand new blades arriving and having to uncrate them all lol, some went to customer teams (SMR etc) the rest to the TT team & HM Plant, thats the same chassis etc as arrived then, its essentially an 09 BSB spec motor, 210bhp, kit ecu & loom, no traction or anything, kit Showa suspenders, john & keith tried the ohlins at cadwell earlier on in the year and john prefers the Showa stuff for the roads, but they use the trick ohlins stuff on the endurance bike.

Oh, and its loud, stupid loud. stupid stupid loud.
