Today! well I thought Id see what the repsol fairing looked like with big scratches all over the right hand side!! As I managed to throw myself off in the frost and fog this morning, If anyone else is wondering...dont do it the original colours are much nicer. Not a happy boy today
Sorry to hear this, glad you're ok though.Ask Mark at Yorkshiregooner.co.uk he may have a fairing for you.
I've just thrown out the last of my C90 cassettes, a change of family car means I no longer have a tape player.
Got up, went to the gym and then got stuck in the traffic trying to return as my route goes past Cribs Causeway and all the crazy christmas shoppers are out I would have gone on the bike but the weather is FOUL so the VW Transporter it was!
Mary's home for Christmas.... Fitted an Evotech lower radiator guard, perfect fit and a doddle to do, I might even treat her to a upper guard as well if she behaves herself. I need to work out where everything is going, storage shelving and work bench still to be built, once done I can fit the ground anchor and move her into her winter hibernation position at the back of the garage. In the meantime, night night: Once everything is done I can then start looking for a (shhhhh dont tell L) a little project to tinker with.
No Martin, I had the official ones fitted before delivery by the dealer, I only asked them to fit the side Corse stickers just to break up the wall of red. Not keen on the front and rear cowl ones. I think they look great but the OCD monster in my head is screaming at me to order some unofficial brushed aluminium ones to match the one on the tank etc. I am not sure who will eventually win the argument, but we have called a truce for Christmas.
Ok I remembered reading something about stickers, how many miles have you done now mate? And did you sort those running in issues when pulling out at junctions?
Think it looks great, like you say, breaks it up nicely.... Must admit, with the termi's on also it's looking lovely dude. And the rear wheel looks mega on the single sided swingarm.
Failed! Set off to ride home this evening, nearly got blown off the bike at the first roundabout, narrowly missed being t-boned by a magoo in a mondeo 50yds further on, both feet down on the next roundabout where the hgvs had been practising Tarmac rainbow drawings outside a Norbert dentressangle depot. Thought, f#*k this for a game of soldiers. Turned round, back to work, got lift home.
Interesting ride to work this morning, left it until it was light, lanes had turned into running streams, pot holes were now mini lakes and bushes had replanted themselves all over the place, mud, sludge and just about everything else normally in the fields was on the road surface. So glad I never bother to wash my Blade
