HP4's common as muck at this years TT, along with VTR1000SP1 and 2's for some reason. Last year it was S1000RR and R1's not that it helps you much noteven sure why I said it now, I'll get my coat.

Have you many accessories on your blade Rich like exhaust etc? If so upgrading to the sp you can just swop them over where as with the others you gonna be paying out again for things

Tough one mate that only you can choose. Tbh I would probably keep the blade for the time being & wait for the 2015 blade when it will have more tricks up it's sleeve. Or, I quite fancy the 899 Panigale - can't wait to test drive it - reviews are brill.

You know that makes sense about all the bling you have at present that will go on an SP.
SP for me then, just wondering how the mag boys rate it when they test it this weekend.I'd have to ride anything first before being commited though. The 2012 made no difference on the road for me between that and my rra.I actually thought it was slower and harsher to ride.Probably not set up properly.

Agree with AA, the 899 Panigale, has had some great reviews, and without wanting to complicate the issue, I think you should add this one to your list.

If I was in your position, I would wait until the Spring, test ride all 2/3, and then decide, also why px?, you should be able to get more for your bike in the Spring.

Given the choices, I would go for the

Act in haste .... Repent at leisure, wait for the new blade in my opinion. Honda will not stay behind, or heads will roll at HQ.

Went to look at the 2014 ZX10R today but no road test bike available, good specs but looked cheap and don't like the taillight of all thing + 6500 for my old Blade, I DON'T THINK SO.
Confirmed with Honda Dealer today I'll have the SP ABS and swap the Akrapovic onto it to finish off the good looks of the bike. Good job I did as only 65 non-abs and 75 abs for the UK and the 2 he's got coming in have sold with no more available, he has even rung round other dealers to try and get another one but no luck.

Having said that...if you wanna let another bloke ride your .....Bike! lol
Id go for the SP, sounds a lovely set of mods onto an already great bike.
(test rides of course if you get the chance)

Honda are not behind. And if you think a new bike is coming next year, sadly mistaken IMO.

As if they would release the sp for it to be eclipsed by something the year after? No chance....

You'll be waiting 2 / 3 years for a new blade, might as well wait for back to the future gravity skate boards lol
