WHERE DO I START.WELL 3 WEEKS AGO I WENT TO MY DEALERS TO PUT A PRELIMARY RESERVE ON THE SP AS I TOLD YOU ALL.WELL THE DEALERS TOLD ME 5K TO CHANGE WHERE I WAS HAPPY NOW THEY SAY 9K FOR MY BLADE?.I TELEPHONE HUNTS AND JOHN BROWN SAYS HE WILL OFFER ME 10K AGAINST SP.THE PROBLEM I HAVE NOW IS HUNTS HAVE SOLD THERE QUOTA SO I AM IN THE S--T.BEARING IN MIND I HAVE SPENT 22K CASH TO MY DEALER THEN THEY DO THIS LEAVES A BIT OF A SOUR TASTE.I EITHER BITE THE BULLIT OR TELL THEM THEY DONT HAVE A DEAL,AND AFTER BUYING THE PLATE FOR THE SP WELL LOOKS LIKE IT WILL BE SOLD

Thats sh....t m8 sorry to hear, i read with interest with you buying the plate an all Is there no other dealer with any sp left i would be well pi..... with them.

 

they just have

 

tell em to stuff it and try and get one somewhere else, even if you only get 9K trade in from somewhere else, if you can't get one, sell the plate and wait for the new 2015 blade
leaving 22K on their doorstep and they do this is pretty shitty imo…. best of luck what ever you do!

 

Real bummer that one mate.
Been to my Honda dealer which he had initially reserved ABS SP for me to confirm I'm having it, which was luck as Honda are only supplying him with 2 and from an e-mail he showed me the 170 SP's for UK was right 65 non abs - 75 abs models. He phoned around other dealers to get more but has had no luck at all.

 

spoke to john brown and he is going to try and get one he sold his 2 but will try and let me know monday

 

pretty p---d off actually they could have told me 3 weeks ago and i would have gone elsewhere.i said i was happy with 5 to change now he tells me 6k principle here

 

probably will be able to get one at another dealer but may not offer the 10k i wanted

 

One may well turn up Graeme nearer the time.

The same thing happened with the HP4S, I enquired about buying an HP4 from Chester Motoradd last January and they only had one left (or so they said) tried really hard to get me to sign up but the deal was shyte TBH compared to a new Blade so a new Blade it was.

Few weeks before March the 1st a few HP4S starting turning up for sale after cancelled orders, so keep ya fingers crossed!

 

Sell your Plate Graeme for a tidy profit and it may soften the pain, on the brighter side my 2013 Repsol ABS 9000 miles on clock part X prices - BMW 6500 Kawasaki 6500 Honda 8000, now does that make you feel any better?

 

how rich its robbery want your buisness then pull your pants down on both sides buying and selling

 

allblade maybe other honda dealers on forum will get me a sp with the 10k deal .good publicity for them?

 

This dealer of your has probably found out how limited their going to be and if you don't like the deal he's offer there is someone waiting in the wings to buy it.

 

Trouble is Graeme is that the SP looks likes it's going to be a sell out hence why dealers are back tracking on deals as they know they can shift em at a better profit margin than previously thought.

Another option, get the Ohlins and brembo kit put on your bike for a lot less than 6k, plus an HM QS and maybe even BST wheels - but know its not the limited edition bike,

Or just wait for a lightly used one to turn up (which they will in time, they always do)
