So My Plan is to race in the No Limits newcommers1000 with my teammate Jimbo and maybe Wirral 100 . My Bike a 2009 Honda Fireblade non abs. I bought it as a standard road bike which was a steve brogan replica It now has HMQS,PC5,Brembo MC,SDS Dual carbon front pads,rear sets,braided lines,profibre race fairings,yoshi exhaust.Gear Shaft support,and soon to be Ohlins front and back As slicks are not allowed in novice i will be using Dunlop d212 gp Tyres
Race 1 Report 29th/30th March -Snetterton Urrrrrrrrrrr mmmmmmmmmmmmmm Sorry would rather forget about this one Just want to say thanks to Dave V and Jo for all there help with my bike and everyone that came to show support it really does help in the highs and lows and a big well done to Jimbo . And of course Barney your a legend mate sorry I didn't try the cakes mate I had lost my appetite for some reason. See you all at Cadwell and if I have to take a spare bike I will but I will bloody race that's for sure or at least do a lap which will be an improvement on Snetterton.
Yep but as I am the number 1 rider he has to follow team orders that includes breakfast in bed on race day but don't tell him I said that .
Yep i noticed that I will be surprised if I can do 7 of the 8 no limits serious due to work but will try to that's why I will join Wirral 100 to try to get my 10 signatures in the year .
Wirral 100 is a pretty good club, worth joining them now as it is only something like £20 for annual membership. It is pretty good value racing, with 1 round at Oulton and then 4 at Anglesey. If you do decide to race with them and are doing Anglesey, let me know and we shall get you into the garage there. Can also put you up if you need a bed for the night.
Quick update got my race number today which is #4 ,#1 was available but don't think anyone wants that unless you have big balls . Myself(#4) and Jimbo(#11) are racing in the Metzeler newcomers cup with NL so have to use there tyres as they are sponsoring it which is a fecker as I have just fitted new Dunlop wets.Not to bothered about the treaded tyres as I need to get some anyway as I have slicks on now and can't race on them.Not used Racetec before but Jimbo says there a good tyre. Result tonight got some Metzeler wets which have done 2 sighting laps and are mint for £100 so that's a result. Roll on March 29th/30th at Snetterton bike is ready I am nearly ready.
