I thought AVB was going to do well with such a good squad, maybe in time he would have done. Tottenham or any club really can have Wenger as far as I am concerned. The Arsenal slide has started, probably be lucky to get top six let alone top four. Why Geraud and Bentner play I just don't know.

Being a Man City fan I was also very disappointed in Spurs performance, was hoping they'd keep them Scousers behind the Blues. Never mind, Liverpool will get a spanking come Boxing Day!
I think the savings on silver polish over the last eight years helped to play for the stadium. I think Wenger is a good manager, but not a great one. I think it would be good for him and the club if he had a new challenge. Let's face it, it is a business and Arsenal are probably happy with the Champions League money. We do play great football sometimes, but we also make howlers and for many Arsenal fans to actually win something would be nice. I have no idea who we would replace him with though.......perhaps it would be better if he stayed. Would be nice to beat one of the top 3 teams a bit more ie City, Utd and Chelsea and Liverpool are doing well. Just wonder who Spurs will get, they must have someone lined up.
they should have never got rid of him!! i,m not a huge footie fan (motorsport and rugby man) but the gunners are the ones i follow. be nice to finally pick up some more silverware after a long wait!
