Oi wedge - back off! They are obviously crap. Ill give you a tenner for them.... I don't need spare levers honest
When's the dude been rude in his responses? Like you, others have voiced their opinions- Me personally, well I think you may have lost some credibility to your side of the story on this one.
Fair do! Sorry if I offended people, but you can only tell your side of the story I guess, and you lot own them with no problem so hay, your happy. I say rude as starting a response with I don't want to get into an argument is hardly a welcoming approach to solving a problem, and you did not go thorough the hardship yonks ago. I will dig them out and send them back. If you guys were on the receiving end you'd feel the same. If BDS want to comments removed then just ask and I will delete them or the mods can do it.
Haven't offended me at all. I've bought them at the show and seen your feedback which I'm grateful for and I'll consider when they arrive- end off. One thing I will say is that I noticed plenty of bikes weep fluid with various MC manufactures. There were a few at show, Mcguniness and Marquez to name a couple. Not saying it's right, maybe it's just when your super fast it does it?
Yeah mine are pissing out lol My old brembo used to do it they hold fluid after bleeding in the centre you bob dust cap on and seems to hang about there i have a bleed now then ear bud make into a point and grab excess this sorts it out
BFB you're entitled to voice your opinions & please don't delete anything, it's what makes the interweb so valuable. You may see fluid around the base of the thread appear to bulge when the lever is pulled, this is common when brakes have been recently bled and does give the impression of a leak, it also appears on calipers but think if the seat was leaking would the fluid not take the easiest route out i.e. up the centre? Can I ask how long you used the cylinder for?
Without getting into the specific issue BFB experienced with BDS I have some sympathy for his frustration and thus his attitude about it. I experienced a problem with an order with a supplier on this forum on a large order which caused me a huge amount of hassle. Although I got an apology, the damage was already done and it was all so avoidable, it was just down to very sloppy service delivery. I will not use that supplier again, because I can not trust them. Whilst getting an apology was nice, it took 10 seconds to make. The aggravation I had took days to sort out. I know many other people on here use that supplier and have had good service ie they got what they ordered and the product was fine. To be honest, that is what I expect when I purchase anything. In my opinion, the most important thing is how a supplier deals with problems/complaints regarding what they have supplied, this is the acid test for me. In my experience it is often where many companies let themselves down. It is all so easy when everything is fine, it is when you complain that the difficulties often occur. I can be forgiving on minor mistakes, but blatant incompetence, lack of care etc will always hack me off. I have used BDS and they supplied the product I ordered and it was fine, hence I will use them again, but if I had an experience like BFB alleged then I certainly would not. As far as Accossato are concerned, I have only ever heard good things about them but that does not mean every single item is perfect.
Great piece of kit! realy happy with accosato pump. I bought it form Italy based seller....19x20pump + shipping was around 165euro
No jimbo think you made the wrong decision ! Get the 19x20 and I will buy that shit useless 18x19 off you for ????? £50 I'm doing you a favour
