    Hi All,

Not been on for a while mainly due to new job and lengthy training period, which links into thinking of selling the bike.

I converted my 2010 blade, which i have owned from new, last year to a track bike by that I mean:

    CRC Fairining
Ohlins 30mm Cartridge Kit (stripped and serviced at MCT Suspension last year)
Ohlins TTX rear shock (as above)
Power Commander with x2 custom maps with the map selector on handle bar (Set up at BSD Dyno, baffle in/baffle out map)
Akrapovic Evolution Full Ti System (with baffle)
    Renthal Clip ons
    SES front fairing bracket
    Gilles VCR rear sets
    HM Quickshifter

I still have stock fairing (Black and White) like new, bike only covered 3400 miles, it was serviced last year at Honda and I've done the oil this year, bike was only used once for a TD at Snetterton last year after service and has been garaged since, as I don't have the time to do any TD's at the minute and probably for next 16 months.

I don't think I'll be putting it back to road trim as I don't have the bits anymore other than fairing which I would sell seperatally.

It also has a cat 1 alarm which I've kept on.

I'm struggling with a figure to put on the bike or fairing as I don't want to let it go for under what it's worth, I just feel more guilty it being sat there for the foreseeable.

Any sensible figures, comments, advice appreciated.

    Thanks

    Dan

Cant really help you with your figure mate, but guessing around £5.5k mark? Although yours has some good bits on it.

Lovely bike though - Shame as i have a 2011 track bike but want to upgrade it with a fair few things you have on yours. let me know if any of it is up for grabs.

You might actually fair better by selling some of the accessories separately, but sounds like a great spec bike! I reckon you would get a better price if you wait till March April time to sell

Your suspension alone new is £2500 fitted approx so must be still worth a few quid it's a shame you dont have the parts to put it back to road spec as you would get much more selling parts then selling as a road bike,as Jimbo said he could be interested in some of them .

One option price up buying the parts you need to put it back to road spec I have quite a few parts of my 09 blade and I bet a few of here also do if you have the fairings still you have the most expensive bits.

Thanks for the replies, I'm really kicking myself now for not keeping all the stock bits as I might have been tempted to revert to standard form and sell the bling on but that's hindsight...

Due to time etc think best thing for me personally is hope that someone is looking for a pretty sorted bike next year and sell as a tracker, I know this may not be financially the best way forward...

Talk to Yorkshire Gooner (mark) from here - he will be able to help you with whatever you need at fair prices to get it back to road spec - huge range of parts (Its an aladins cave of Blade stuff)

If not he may be able to trade your Bling for standard parts with cash your way

Keep an eye ebay for bodywork - Black is the most common as was sold for all years - I got 2 side fairings and tank cover last winter at very fair prices.

Just shows you how the right bike with the right parts will always have interest.

Convert the bike back to standard, parts are plentiful. If you want to sell the whole package give me a shout will buy the bike and parts as well. Cheers
