    Good thread this :p what about the most over rated toy of the 80s.............BIG TRACK!!!

    The thing needed that many batteries it could only move 4 yards before they ran out!

    My first pc had dos 5, a highly advanced 386 processor ram was single digit megabyte figures and a 40 megabyte (yep i did mean megabyte!) hard drive! :D

    I had a zx81 with the 16k add on ram pack. Who remembers when you bought a mag they would have the games you copy out of the mag (text code) on to the computer. Take you hours then run the dam thing and it wouldnt work!!! arrrgh

    That was only because you had missed a decimal point somewhere in the thousands of lines of code! :D

    haha yes, took two hours to type in then another two to debug, then it was 50 /50 if the code was buggered in the first place!!

    I always wanted a mamod steam engine...just could never afford one, then when I could my ex-wife wouldn't accept that it was an appropriate toy for a new born baby !!
