Would you be making a hugger for the ABS models from 08-11 and also 12- Blades?

I know a lot of people have asked on here as they are few and far between.

The Twill looks good initially, but I think it may be a short term thing and I would get tired of it soon. I would choose plain.

I like them both but would choose the gloss weave for my bike.

Planning to buy some carbon swing arm and frame protectors in the new year, so please let us have your product list and prices as soon as possible.

Ask your website designer to sort his pictures out CC?

Tiz a pet hate of mine when you click on an already small picture to enlarge it and all it does is open another window in the center of ya screen with the same size picture!

Your website is even worse as the picture when clicked gets even smaller! [IMG]

So many companies do this and fail to grasp the fundamental fact that they are trying to sell an asthetically pleasing item so if the customer can't see the fecking thing properly then it's an [IMG]

Hi, I completely agree with you but the pictures used are samples (non copyright) as we haven't got the items ready in stock to take our own professional photos. All Aprili/Ducati/MV/Triumph photos on our site are picturs of our own products so that will give you a good visual on the quality of carbon.

Hi Colin/ Steve. Can I add my 2p worth on this issue?

I posted something up on this subject when I purchased my ABS back in 2011. I asked the dealership if they could fit the larger OE hugger (I assume Steve this is what you will use as a base for the carbon copy), which, if I remember rightly was not recommended by Honda. They had no technical issues with it as they had worked out they just needed to move the pipework slightly. I asked if they would warrant the supply and fitment to a brand new ABS model and they said yes no problem. I have didn’t have any problems. Just a thought guys.

This is how they routed the pipework:

The Pipework is not the problem on the OEM Hugger, which IMHO is the best looking Hugger going for the Blade.

The problem is the ABS housing mounted on the undertail protrudes down and can hit the Hugger and crack it slightly.

I have one and it has cracked the Hugger slightly due to numerous occasions when a severe bump has caused excessive suspension deflection.

Honda could easily have altered this design of Hugger to fit the ABS as there is acres of room beneath the Hugger so all that is needed is two 'scallops' moulded in to the hugger where the edges the ABS cover makes contact with the standard one.

Tiz far simpler showing someone than explaining it!
