Just bought a project and I need a trailer

    i live just outside leeds 10 mins off junction 27 of the m 62 i have a single bike trailer that tips to load you are welcome to borrow it sir .

    He's got a point Carl from one of his other recent threads I have realised he knows his stuff about old antique stuff
    These were prob around when in his 50's mate

    Well I won the bidding process and contacted the seller with no response, perhaps he has changed his mind.

    I used to have a GS850 shaft drive in the early 80's, with a very loud 4 into 1 pipe ;)
    heavy old beast, 253kg dry :eek:
    and less than 80bhp I think?

    I can’t help wondering if you will both be still be laughing about that day in December 2013 when she asked why you had kitted up like an ice hockey net keeper to give her the good news about your fantastic internet purchase.

    Well it's been two days now and nothing, no communication or explanation, why do people post items on eBay and pull out without the courage to explain, it's a good job I didn't hand over money!

    If U want a project that will only appreciate in money then buy an 80's Jap 250 2 Stroke

    RGV250, TZR250, KR1S 250 etc

    If you just want a reliable cheap 4 stroke for Sunday Cruises with the Mrs then get a old VFR Tourer!

    You might be right, to be honest I'm disappointed because the callenge excited me, I guess I should pull out and start again ?

    This guys finally come back to me, he is apparently emigrating before Xmas and I would be collecting from his neighbour, should I pull out or collect£400 honest answers guys this is getting serious, can I do something positive with an 80000 mile 26 year old bike?

    My honest opinion would be to run for the hills, surely the emigration would have been planned months and months ago, so why sell the bike so late!. You pay him, he buggers off with the cash and the neighbour knows nothing about it when you are knock on his door. If it looks like a turd, smells like a turd then it's properly.............
