I've just booked our Jessie in for the first service 600 miles. So I've to bung on another 200 before January 6th!

I've caved in and having a couple of Essential bits fitted at same time!

R&G Crash Bungs Front, Back & Middle.
R&G Tail Tidy as the stick keeps getting in the way of the garage draws & looks pants!
Honda Comfort seat as 240 miles yesterday reminded me how it feels ridding on a plank of wood for a seat.
Zero Gravity Dark Tint Double Bubble to stop the old lid whistling. New lids fine but as I tend to use the Shoe on most long rides it needs sorting.
Finally a petrol cap mounted tank bag as I'm goosed without any storage space at all, camera, mobile, visor wipes that sort of stuff.

So thats that! Jessie will be all set for here mooch to Spain in January (Monday meeting so 4 day round trip, nothing exiting) if the snow holds off that is!!! Only time will tell on that one.

Can anyone think of anything else? Let the list begin LOL

Have you already bought the R&G kit? I'd go with the Evotech stuff it doesn't resemble that of a melted ice cream tub.

Have you a rad guard fitted before Spain? Cheap insurance

Thanks ! I'm just trying to remember all that I have done to her: Double bubble screen, Short levers, heated grips, rentec rack and a pile of Kriega luggage, Translogic quickshifter, Gilles rearsets, R&G rad guard, crash bungs, rear spindles, tail tidy. Hel brake lines, Honda rear cowl and hugger, Stompgrip, Garmin 660 and Ram mount fittings, Racefit exhaust, the list goes on and on !

Everything I have doe so far has been to improve the feel and perfprmance of the bike. I am now contemplating "unnecessary" things like fancy chain adjusters and carbon frame and swing arm covers!! It's an illness !!

Here's a picture of my previous Blade Creg na Bar.jpg

Which Motech bag and system did you choose Ray? Any links or pictures? I want a small, quick detatchable bag for toll tickets, wallet, phone etc. Looks like you can get a Ram mount for cameras etc. that clips to the tank mount bracket as well but I couldn't find it on their site !

After extensive research on here LOL The Venture Luggage will be a 100% addition ready for the RBLR1000 in June as Dash my son will be with me. I like the idea of the frame behind him for the ride.

This is the SW-Moteck Bag I've gone for Dave, as for the Ram mount I've bought two and 'bastardised' them to fit in the top yoke whole. It works a dream and leaves clear view of the key and clocks. I mention the key as I used to leave the key in Mr T quite regularly.

If you want the ram mount info let me know.

Annoyingly that top comes with a mount that is too narrow so used another base. revers wrapped the expander with gaffa tape so it got a better purchase on the inside of the yolk. Then wound it round once more once it had tightened up.

Ray ! Bag looks nice. Have you a picture of it fitted to your bike? I have the Ram ball mout fitted in the yoke hole, for my Garmin already !! SW seem to suggest that there is a Ram ball mount that they offer which clicks onto the tank adapter plate, whe you are not using the tank bag. Good for cameras etc. I just couldn't find a picture of it on their site.

Telfer Izer do the best Ram stuff ! All custom made. I have some spare Ram balls that fit in the top yoke of the Blade, if you want one. No Gaffer tape required !
