Anyone got any that they'd like to share?

Mine generally works but it's a lengthy process.

    Tea upon waking.
Bowl of sugary cereal and ice-cold milk.
    2 x Ibuprofen.
    Shower and brush teeth.
    Coca cola during the morning.
Lunchtime pasta with homemade tomato sauce (this normally kills it).

For those hangovers that don't succumb to that lot........hair of the dog. Works everytime.

The only part of the hangover that I seem to be struggling with recently and that I haven't found a cure for is bloating. My stomach sticks out like I'm pregnant and I feel like I've swallowed a basketball.

If anyone's got a cure for that I'd appreciate it.

My personal cure starts whilst I am still drunk :)

Eat two fried egg sandwiches with ketchup on, with a strong coffee and pint of water (or kebabs or cheese burgers if still out). These may be occasionally seen again

Remember to turn off gas after frying eggs, this bit can be difficult sometimes ;)

Wash face, clean teeth and take some water to bed and drink should you happen to wake from drunken stupour.

Get up straight away on waking.

Drink two or three coffees and have some toast, then another pint of water.

Clean up mess made whist drunk and check any emails, texts or posts you may have made on social network sites and forums when drunk.

    Job done for me.

    Or alternatively...........just start drinking again.

I start with Anadin extra and water then moving on to coke after a couple of hours to get some sugar in my system then once my stomach has settled anything hot helps.

For bloating etc pick up some Buscopan from any pharmacist, this will reduce bloating, stomach cramps and any needs for constant trips to 'sit down'

Jimbo will be on soon to say man up and get back on it no doubt lol

PS Irn Bru is an awesome hangover cure which I had almost forgotten about!!

    My 2p:

Generally my hangovers are solely a dodgy stomach, I don't usually get headaches - so no tablets for me.

Water / squash and toast before bed.

Bloody mary in the morning. TJ replaces vitamins, vodka numbs the discomfort.

If you have got stuff to do in the day, I used to buy Purdeys but this now seems harder to get (Only Asda and Ocado currently list on my supermarket). Monster rehab seems to do a similar job, but I've only tried one flavour so far - tea and lemonade.

Eat a high protein meal before having a drop of alcohol,
drink water intermittently throughout the night (I normally get a glass of tap water when its my round and drink it before carrying the pints back)
drink at least a pint before going to sleep. Headaches are caused by dehydration so this prevents it,

In the morning drink diorite to replace nutrients & salts lost.
a pint of 50% fruit juice, 50% water and a couple of teaspoons of salt will have a similar effect.

Don't drink coffee as it will only give you a short caffeine boost and then you go back to feeling how you were.

    Trust me - I'm a squadie!

tried the water before bed malarkie, woke up to find it had rained inside the wardrobe  so don't do that anymore !

normally get up down a pint or two of water, give it 15 minutes, if that stays down have some toast or muesli, then get out for some fresh air, hangovers normally gone by dinner time :)

Kit Kats and Coke not diet. ... This until feeling half alive, then normal food and lots of water. But if you're hard pretend you don't get hangovers.

    Mike.

One of my mates 'grand-slammed' on his wedding night, that was nearly the shortest marriage of any of my friends.
