From 08 to 2013 it s the same engine , so yes it ll fit great.

Don't forget SBK head and cams are built to higher rpm , above 10 000 rpm, flat midrange.

And these cams have very high lift , you ll need new HRC valve springs, and be safe by correctly check your PTV and PTH ..........

gotta love how he says grab yourself a bargain but doesn't give a price.

if it was that much a bargain he would have posted the price up.

so how much is it skippy?

1400£ for the lot shipped, complete head with all the valves, springs, HRC cams, but thats it
he has 2 engines, he's rebuilding one for himself, so splitting the other one to fund it.....

@derchef, why other pistons? I've ran a tuned head, flowed, ported, kent cams, YEC springs and valves on a standard bottom end and pistons without a problem for more than 3 yrs.

gotta say I saw a ported head the other week on ebay, not expensive at all, but wanted to much for shipping.... don't think it came with cams though...

I will only do engine work if I can find decent parts for decent prices, otherwise the 175bhp will be more than enough to kick some butt :D :D

you can never have too much power :D :D.... another 10 or so ponies on the back wheel would be great, another 10 or so torque even beter, then you'll definatley have the upper hand of the ZX10's and the pesky beemers :D

I might just use it this year how it is and send it to germany over next winter. Mate of mine has just got his gsxr600 back after getting some head work done, so will see what he says first after he's riden it.. Just all depends on howlong I'm keeping the bike for ;)

Sorry mate. Remind me what you got for $1350 ? Seems a lot for just a gas flow, so I assume there's more?

    A lot ?????!!!! lol

i think it's not cheap for ported, flowed, skimmed, valve guide cut, and valve seat cutting by 5 axe cnc machine. And by KWS, one of the best tuner in the world ! he did a lot of winning bikes of AMA SBK.

For example, if i had more money i could send my head to Tim RAdley at Race DVPT, in my opinion it the best guys you can find for an head porting, but for 1500€ ( VS 980€ for kws ). And surely my next bike ll go between Tim radley hands...hihihi

Of much do you think an head work costs ? KWS have already great price cause they make a lot of head a year.
