works solely on Gps as far as i know .. ive been in touch with solo and they tell me it has MOST UK tracks !! I guess its the same for european , unless they install all the tracks WSB, BSB and MOTO GP go too
As far as I'm aware solely GPS, knows when the same point is crossed. As always, I could well be wrong!
thats what i thought until i search google PZ Racing / start lap timers from italy dont work at all tracks and you have to press start button for the first time you cross start finish line , yeh ok you can do on warm up laps if mounted ok and gloves permit , and never got a true answer from AIM about soley being GPS but as far as i know a lot of superstock riders use the AIM . and with right software you can download start / finish line co ordinates on the internet
