Im looking to do a bit of touring on my blade next year.

Whats the best luggage options that don't cost the earth.

Im particularly fond of tank bags but with the plastic tank my magnetic one is useless.

whats a good tank bag that works well with the cbr? i also need a way of carry gear on the back end.

Any advice, tips & suggestions much appreciated

    thank you :)

But I've had both kriega and ventura. Both fine for trips, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder Bloy.

For the tankbag though, my mate uses a "bags connection" doobery on his triumph, mounting it via the petrol cap screws, again I think it looks pig ugly without a bag on it, but he likes it.

Depends on your budget, you can tour with a £30 roll bag from oxford just as well as a couple of hundred quids worth of luggage from a premium name.

Im loving the "Kriega V's Ventura" thread it seems the options are endless

Anyone got a link where i can purchase a good tank bag that works, i cant seem to find many products for plastic tanks. I was after one with a clear top for the sat-nav

FWIW, I got the Givi tank bag, quick release, fantastic bag for what it is.

But IMO the position the sat Nav fits inside is next to useless, yes you can see it, but on a seperate stem is better.

If you struggle with finding your solution we're always pleased to post some more photographs.

I'll see if I can find some more links and add them. :)

All three options on display - kriega on the blade, ventura on the Ducati, large milk crate on the triumph.

Don't use a tank bag myself, like to get tucked in when possible, but essentials like passport, wallet, phone are all in my waist bag.
