I know your type..... Enjoying yourself whilst us tank baggers risk life and limb keeping pace at the front and map reading at 170mph to ensure your trip is "seamless" lol

It does just 'graze' my Pot, sorry Six Pack!

But unless I pop a involuntary Wheelie or two it doesn't bother me TBH.

I originaly wanted the iPad as a Sat Nav in the dedicated holder in the Tank Bag but I found it was too close to my eyes to read!

    Givi Tablet Bag.jpg

Pissed me off big time that did! [IMG]

Hence Plan B with the dedicated TomTom Yolk Sat Nav Holder

Looks spot on that Jimbo. I'm heading in that direction but with the V luggage due to the rack offering Ben a little more safety. Sat nav's on, tank bag next week along with comfort seat. I'll pop a couple of photos up when she's fettled.

Heres how I've mounted the Garmin 360LM with a Ram mount

    IMG_0141.jpg

It's working a treat. Just need to get the tank bag in January.

Yeah with Ben def think Ventura is the best option. The tank lock stuff is great, on and off the bike in seconds! And keeps off the paintwork too

Have you ridden with it like that Jap? I found it to low and got in the way of my tank bag when fitted with mine, mounted like this so don't have to take eyes off road to much or to long, you can also still see all the warning lights

When I went up the lakes I ended up moving it up and forward and it was fine. Mind I tend to Bluetooth all the sound so not to reliant on the vision. I have a few ram mounts in the garage along with various length connectors so I'll test and adjust once the tank bag is fitted.

I'm like your set up mind. I've been toying with getting another Touratech mount so I can leave it attach as I used to do with the 660. Just depends if I it's needed.

I'm off around 40 Speedway tracks pin the New year so that will give me a better idea.

    Just seen this -

For my 2p I really rate the RAM mount for the satnav stem, Baglux tank cover and the slimest bag for valuables - but the new Givi lock type bags jimbo and Gary use look a step forward as even easier to use.

I also have had good use from ventura as below - know it gets slated but serves a purpose and works really well as a rack for camping kit - however Jimbo has found things called 'Hotels' which avoids the need for tent / rollmat / sleeping bag!

And in camping equipment carrying mode:
