To those forum members who like myself went out and purchased the Lidl version...

How are your experiences with the camera so far ??

Personally I find the picture quality is good although the playback is very stop-start, I think it might be down to the memory card that is in the package.
I don't think the card is fast enough for video recording from what I have read.

But am interested to hear your stories so far :)

Not had experience of this camera but found even GoPro was very stop start. I sorted it by downloading VLC Media Player and running MP4 files they this. Worth a try.

I read on a GoPro forum that happens as the original MP4 files are not the quite same as Quicktime, so you have to re-save the file.

I'd be interested to see the mounting options for Lidl version though.

The lidl camera mounting system does not give you the mounting options of a gopro but you do get a small mounting bracket that does interact with gopro mounts giving a lot more options

I use VLC for all my media playback and the video is stop start.
However I have now got a Class 10 memory card, (fast memory for video recording), for the camera and today tried that out today.
The video is now smooth, so there is the issue..obviously the card the camera is sold with is a basic memory card...ok for photos and files, but not good enough for HD video capturing.
