I bought one from screwfix with a 1/2 drive a few years back and I think it was less than £20. I only use it for chain adjustment.
Part of the caliper fell off Nipping up the retaining pin and over did it and the housing part the bolt tightens up to broke off So that's another load of hassle to sort
Thanks Colin - contact made with my source of parts, plus ebay hunt - they are out there, just annoying as I'd spent an hour cleaning the pistons up before I fecked it!
It could still sting the wallet a bit mate, there are quite a lot of single older model calipers available but the 08+ are mostly still sold in pairs and also a bit costly!
2008 Honda CBR1000RR TOKICO 4 POT FRONT RIGHT BRAKE CALIPER #G1/13-A1 | eBay That's one option - and yes a bit of a sting
A replacement could still end up with sumat snapping! Stop pussying about about and get those HPK's bought! Tiz only £500 plus U get new pads to boot!
no huge rush Colin, was going to get suspension serviced at Kais this coming weekend but can put that off - also need to get rear wheel bearing replaced so few jobs
