Managed to get just enough dry free time today despite the constant rain to remove my exhaust servo and fit an esrm! Took 5 mins tops and now leaves me a space to fit a power commander once I get one. View attachment 17721 View attachment 17722
Your servo is in a different spot to the 07 bike Mine is at the end of the battery nearest the pillion seat and looks a lot more buried than that. Will get one of those servo buddy things and do this mod in the coming weeks
I might be missing the point here but what do these actually do? I've disconnected the cable from the exhaust valve to the servo and turned the servo back to its correct position and get no warning lights on the dash. So other than saving a very little bit of weight which you'll never notice and being relieved of £50 drinking vouchers I don't see the point in these.
The servo can sometime malfunction without the cable attached! Basically moving to far backwards or forwards in its axis causing an issue! And yes a small weight saving or somewhere to put a pc 5 certainly on the 08+ bikes
Well for me it'll make an extra storage space under the seat, not much point having the servo there if its not doing anything anymore and as SPS said if the servo stick or packs up then it'll throw up a dash light. I'll stick the servo in a box along with all the other bits I removed and keep them safe in case I want to return the bike to standard in future
