Just back from first service having had the R&G stuff fitted. Heres the Tank bag which I'm well chuffed with its the SW-Motech

    P1050904.JPG

Bit gutted that they stuck the rear paddock bobbins on as I wanted the spindle one as there too far back to use in the garage due to VW lift getting in the way.

    P1050905.JPG

Heres a side view of the tank bag, it just sits nice under my chest

    P1050923.JPG

Takes all of 3 seconds to clip on and 5 seconds to take off

I like the size, the two pockets on the sides are spot on one for the rain cover that comes with it, complete with clear plastic top. The other for change for the tolls.

The divider moves up and down using velcro and there is a pocket running the full length of the top for Passport and the like.

All in all its a great little bag and if I need something bigger SW-Motech do a full range of tank bags. I'd just need longer arms LOL

Cheers, I'm happy with it. It could do with being about 10 mm further forward but I'll see how I go with it. I did have my camera, mobile & wallet all in my jacket pockets when I rode home so felt a bit tight. I'll give you an update once I've used it a while.
The Zero Gravity Double Bubble is amazing! The wind noise is down to next to nothing and that was through town.

Had a look at moving the bag forward a touch but it will foul the opening mechanism if I do so I'll keep it where it is.

One question to Ventura Users Does the rear rack fit with an R&G Tail tidy on? Just in process of buying the rack to give Ben a little more protection on the pillion seat. I've always had a top box and he's become used to it being there.

It does on my 12, I have the tail tidy and Ventura rack and grab rail when the rack is not in use. No reason for it not to fit on others.

The options are indeed endless. Just make sure you end up with Kriega.

Us Krieganauts are known for being a bit tasty when crossed. Know what I mean?

Sorry to disappoint but its Ventura for me..... but there is a valid reason for this choice. My 12 year old "Precious Pillion" Ben. The Ventura High Rack gives both him and me a safety guard as he has always had a top box behind him. I'll no doubt make a few adjustments to the frame to give him some sort of cushion when the bag is not fitted. Thats the main reason for my choice.

And yes I do know Kriega is the dog's danglies but on this occasion its just not quite right for me.

But nowhere to sit Dash! I'd rather that be an auxiliary petrol tank on the back seat :D

Looks Bang On that Givi Bag.

I've just spent ten minutes relocating mine 12mm forward and feels tones better. Happy Days all round.

I thought id dig up this thread.

Just a question for the guys that put luggage on the tail end of the bike. Do you install the metal grab rail type bracket or can you get away with wrapping a few bungee cords round a bag?
