If it ever stops raining I'll get some decent photos taken of the Blade. Last night I adjusted the tank bag and moved it forward 12mm. Had to drill the base and move the fitting plate but it was really easy to do and the bag no longer touches my jacket when sat up. Result!

I ordered a set yesterday from a miserable **** at intoBikes I'd put the end date of my card in wrong so had to arse about ringing the bank to ask why after speaking to miserable **** who would not just take the card details verbally from me. Then when I rang back he did just that! W***er!

Lets hope the Sato Hooks are better quality than the customer service!

Ordered myself some black nylon washers after I lost one of the old ones while fitting the dark tint DB screen I got for xmas. Life on the edge, that's me! :)

Never let it be said that I don't splash the cash on my bike :D

Fitted the Ventura Rear Rack and Bag today and I'm well chuffed. Looks OK and has loads of space and three external pockets taboot! All for£200 of fleebay. Gutted I bid instead of hitting the Buy It Now button at £150 still £100 less than Ventura just like brand new. Result!

So after a little ride with the link , i don't regret it !

With TTX set at 300 mm and my fork flush the triple ( Ohlins with 13MM stroke ) the bike is transformed, much better turn in, entry, mid cornering, and exit is phenomenal : with the linearity go the link i could accelerate sooner and harder than before, without wheeling and the bike stay in line.

So my rear ride eight is now raised by 13 mm and the front by 10 mm .

Rode through Derbyshire today nice 180 mile round trip to put flower on my Mums Grave. Used the Ventura to transport flowers from local florist to cemetery. Thats the 12th year in a row.

    IMG_0438.jpg

Happy with the fit, the rain cover and the feel of the bike when riding with Ventura fitted.

    Even the flowers fitted perfect.

All in all a good day, give or take the rain around Buxton!
