Ha ha I know all about this car been in it when it was a car then a limo mates with the lad that paid for it to be stretched I was there when the angle grinder came out to cut it in half(on Google still I think) it was designed/built by a bloke that help design the Mclaren SLR. All the extra panels are carbon fibre so the added weight was less than 85kg think it was so it still has the performance as the car but does go through clutches.p,it was black when it was sold . In the car it has 6 forward facing Recaro passenger seats with a monitor in the headrest and you get the view the driver does the whole side has a Lambo type door that lifts up. It was having a load of work done at Joe Macari who is a Ferrari dealer in London and I went for a meeting with my mate as the deal was they would do a load of work on it for free if Joe Macari got to attempt a Guinness word record for the fastest limo. Anyway Ferrari heard about this and threatened my mate unless he took the Ferrari badges off they would have him in court (I know can of worms here for all the boy races here who modify there cars) but you don't take Ferrari on and win. So my mate kind of to stick 2 fingers up at Ferrari got a metal badge made up with 2 English shire horses but with a difference one was rear ending the other .If you google it about Ferrari threating him it will show up still I think. My mate said it was the best advertising he could of asked for anyway he was getting hassle from ??? This is where I don't say any more on a public forum but he sold it to a lad in Birmingham for very good money think in the region of 100k.
Maybe but it earns the owners a fortune especially with it been in Birmingham the Asian lads love it for weddings etc. They get ££££££££££ from it so well worth it .
Birmingham is where I took those Pics. It was in a local Valeters where Wifey's Merc was having a free spruce up after a Re-map (sorry service! ) down the road at MSL Perfomance Centre. The guy who owns the Valeters is a big mate of Acid who owns MSL
Its all about the money - stretch Hummers are in every town, this is unique and people are willing to pay a premium for it If you did a stretch VW Microbus with 6 decent seats facing each other it would be the same - and wedding car money would pour in for that too - not that they really need stretching and would be bog slow too.
Jason, there was a big article in one of our trade rags last week 'Route One' about the limo business. Did you see it ? If you didn't, pm me your address and I will post it to you if your interested.

Yep I get route one and read the story cheers it's an on going thing these enforcement ops as limos are the number 1 target over say a coach or wagon but it does get the bad ops of the road so it's a good thing just very inconvenient if you have a busy night as they can keep you up to an hour while they check limo and driver as we also run under tachos so lots to check meaning you can miss a job then have a very unhappy customer and of course lost money.
Sorry it doubled the post, bloody iPad seems to have a mind of its own at the moment. Graham Owen is a personnel friend and industry contact of mine, if your getting unreasonable or unwarranted attention let me know and I will have a conversation with him. I am not implying or suggesting I can do anything but it can't do any harm. It seems it doesn't seem to want to 'reply with quote' either.
YaaaaAaaAaaaaayyyy!!!! Good for those owners then! I can just imagine the dickheads that would be hiring that...
