Looking to change current Dunlop tyres on my 2011 blade and wondered what tyres other people recommended. I use mine everyday commuting to work in better weather.

Just talking to a friend yesterday, rides a bike professionally everyday. He really likes the Michelin pr3s this is his third set, he rides a 1200GS BMW. recons about 7000 and they start to 'go off'. He is an experienced good rider that I respect. I intend to give them a go.
    Good luck
    Mike.

Michelin 2CTs you can even have fun on the track with these babies plus get good mileage too.

I had Dunflop qualifiers as supplied with my 09 and they were utter garbage. Read tonnes of posts on here about tyres and got a good deal at Demon Tweeks on Dunlop Sportsmarts and had 90 degree valves fitted while I was at it.

Road tyres pr3's. total convert.... Touring, ride outs, few laps at the ring never had an issue. Awesome in wet, as good as anything in dry for road riding IMO and know a few lads who have run in fast group on track....

Said it before, not sure what else you'd want from a road tyre. Pr4's maybe?? ;)

Got about 5k out of mine compared to sub 1000 out of s20's....

    Michelin 2CT's for me

But i do keep hearing fantastic things about the Michelin Pilot Road 3's with regards to performance and especially life, just the tread pattern for me isn't very pleasing on the eye

Limited ring time and busy Sunday and we were putting in 9min laps mate. No issues what so ever, knee down everywhere you want??

Fully loaded with us30 and 20 and tank bag. Both on pr3's

The rubber was even rolling up nicely after a few laps on the ring!!

Was well impressed with them tbh.

PR3s, 10K all uses out of my last set and they are not pussied anywhere. Surefooted on the daily commute in all this sh**e, not even a discussion with what to replace them with.

Well I'm sold. PR3s for me next time I think. I'm a bit reluctant to leave my beloved 2CTs but I wouldn't mind having something that's a bit less bum-twitchy when it starts raining.

My oe Dunlop's were the worst tyre I've ever ridden on and couldn't get Michelin on quick enough 2ct's then power pures which I got 5k miles from.

Got pirelli DRC on at the moment for a change and the grip is awesome but reckon the milage will suffer, but will see how things go

Its was biblical rain on the commute this morning, and my bum was twitching like hell....

Had a superb Indian and too many Kingfishers in Dartford last night and tbh I put it down to that more than the PR3s, but you have got me wondering now

Agreed massive improvement in the looks department on the rear 4's, but it's the design of the sipe's in the front tyre that's really off putting for me
