cbr 1000 rr45/67 aftermarket headers

    made this little adapter over the weekend so now i can use any endcan that as a 50/52mm inlet hole IMG_1142.jpg IMG_1144.jpg as opposed to the hindle 57 mm inlet on the pipe that was for this system so happy days

    anybody who wants a cheap race system the hindle system on ebay HONDA CBR1000RR 06 07 RACE Exhaust Headers Set stainless steel full system pipe | eBay says its for a 2006/7 cbr 1000 rr they will fit a 2004/5 with a little modding ie you will have to cut the little mounting bracket off the link pipe and make an adapter to fit a 50/52 end can or buy an hindle end can to suit i have a hindle can for the system but made an adapter so id be able to put diff endcans on as well plus i can put a road legal can on for mot i think they have one left but dont exept akro build quality hope this helps anybody

    Good job Daz, but you can buy adapters off eBay, just tell em what sizes. Still need to weld spring tabs on though.

    MIJ Exhausts for one. They list some with dimensions , but you can specify what you want. It did take em 3 attempts to get mine right , but worth the wait.

    well thats her done for the better weather oil and filter change down on the front sprocket from 16 to 15. going to go 2 up on the back sprocket from 40 to 42 at a later date as i will need a new rear tyer soon so do it at the same time ive fitted a full hindle system and a pc5 and have it running on the generic hindle map from dinojet site i will get a custom map done later ive been on it today to make sure everything is working as it should and check for oil leaks and i must say it sounds alot better and runs sweeter but ive lost the overrun bark from the exhaust witch i quit liked so all in all im happy and glad i took a gamble on the 2006/7 hindle system fitting the 2004/5 role on the summer
