We were at an industry retirement do last night in Kings Lynn, Norfolk. This guy stood next to me at the bar ordered a bottle of wine and some beers but then questioned the price being high (£19:00 for the bottle of wine) he then asked how much for a glass of wine (£6:00). Ok he said I will have four glasses then. The barman looked like he was about to say something but saw me cover my mouth laughing, shrugged his shoulders and served him the four glasses. I thought I was going to crack a rib.
Maths and me are worst enemies. In that situation I wouldn't have questioned it, I know my limitations.
oh well Darwin award needed it makes me laugh when I see offers on at Supermarkets like 49pence each for something or 3 for £1.80
Kings Lynn, mate. If he was using his fingers and toes to tott it up, it's understandable how mistakes can happen.
