Self canceling indicators

    Self cancelling indicators, I can't see what all the fuss is about, my GSX1100 had them 30 years ago. As did many bikes of that era, not just fancy bikes lowly 250s had them too.
    When I took a 600RR out for a test ride back in 2004, (when I became born again) I commented that the indicators don't self cancel to the dealer. He said I can't believe you said that.
    I don't know why they did away with them.

    Yes mate I know. I'm really missing 'em. I've not long sold one of those. A very under-rated beast.

    It's not really that hard to remember to move your thumb two inches to press the switch after completing a manoeuvre is it?

    On the flip side of this I get annoyed when the car auto cancels the indicators part way round a round about so to me there is no right/wrong answer to auto cancelling indicators being fitted on bikes, there is benefits and issues with both IMHO! ;)
