Met a mate today who's just bought a 675, and noticed that it has 90 degree tyre valves as standard, apparently all current triumphs do, never had one myself so didn't know that. They look so much easier to use than trying to fit an awkward "designed for cars" airline onto vertical valves, so I was browsing Biketyres Leeds for my next set of tyres and noticed that they'll fit them for £6.50. Why aren't these standard !!!!!!!! I will be annoyed now if you tell me that current blades have them.
Definitely getting them fitted next tyre changing Colin, I'm due new rubber within the next 500 miles I reckon, just don't get why all bikes don't come with them already, seems such a simple but useful thing.
Simples they cost more than standard straight rubber valves! They are a great addition tho, just make sure ur tyre fitter puts them on the right way round for you or checking pressures will be even harder then before!
just be sure to get the correct ones, they do 2 different sizes (euro+jap) as i found out to my cost,a whole 6 quid!!!!
