Let's get these mileages higher for 2014, after one of the wettest winters we are due a bad ass summer! On the plus side though, it hasn't snowed yet!
RR05 with 35k miles. Had her since new and never really considered that this was a particularly high mileage. Oops! Had a discussion with a mate who has a couple of nice Ducati's though and he's not afraid to rack the miles up either. When he was looking to change he was told that the vast majority of Ducati owners do very few miles, so his bike would take a bigger hit (compared to the high number if low mileage bikes) than if he was riding a "Honda" where higher miles were more common. Let's be honest were hardly stressing the engines when on the road so they should be able to rack up some serious miles if you throw an oily rag in its general direction every once in a while)
] Ive always known hondas for their high mileage, im an mot tester and often see blades over the 40k mark.
Dec 2012 with 6,350. Why worry about the mileage? If you have got it use it France and Ireland last year plus many runs to Wales This year Assen and who knows what else
I'm quite amazed there is such an interest/input in this outwardly uninteresting thread? Must be just me then!
Its nice to see blades with more miles than yours, you know they are going to last, i think its an interesting thread. You've had your fair share of posting on this forum, so i guess you should know whats interesting or not lol
